Waste2Taste is a Community Interest Company.
We offer a Bespoke catering service and Community cafe with a vision towards a vibrant, healthy and sustainable food culture, committed
to packaging and food waste cuts. Fighting climate change by reducing food waste, using high quality food surplus.
We are a fabulous team of two friends who in March 2017 decided to put together all our food knowledge and skills to show the world that
we can make magic with surplus food, creating fantastic healthy and super tasty dishes!

We have a combined 20 years of working in the Voluntary sector and are very community focused. We are active
within our own community and always happy to engage with others.

Marie has a background in providing targeted support for vulnerable children, young
people and families. She is a self taught cook who realised when becoming vegetarian aged 13 and living on a
Northern council estate with little money and a Mum who was a basic cook (sorry Mum your love was more than enough!) that getting creative with seasonal food was the way to go.

Sandra
is a Portuguese, passionate cook, with a background
of home-grown, allotment keeping by her parents. Her taste buds were shaped by the seasonal food picked
straight from the ground and cooked by her amazing Mum.
12 Years ago she moved to Oxford with her very young family . Since then she has been, in her own words: ‘getting to know the world, the people and myself’. A new adventure
started! She
was lucky enough to have been responsible for the running of a community kitchen in East Oxford, cooking for around 50 families each day from
food surplus provided by Oxford Foodbank. Alongside this she developed an external catering service generating income for the charity.

We have experience of engaging and supporting vulnerable people and have knowledge of providing volunteering opportunities to a wide range
of people.
