OUR CAFE

Visit us at our warm and welcoming Waste2Taste Café, where we serve a delicious seasonal menu, alongside cakes and pastries. The café uses food surplus as its main ingredient and has a ‘never waste anything’ approach creating a place for anyone and everyone. We have a freezer of love, a kindness menu and a mini larder for anyone in our community in need of food help.

THE CAFE’S MISSION

Our goal is to protect the community through the facilitation of self-isolation and addressing food insecurity but also to engage supportively with BPHA and local partners, in order to tackle isolation and loneliness and build long-term resilience.

The café space engenders connection amongst the local community. It provides dignified food support and opportunities to recover from isolation experienced from the pandemic. It acts as a bridge to the other - generating longer-term sustainable food systems locally.

ALWAYS A WARM WELCOME

The café will provide work experience, mentoring and training opportunities to the homeless and vulnerably housed, a pathway into work.

It is a lovely community space where all are welcome, even your much-loved pet! You can work from HERE, relax, enjoy really yummy food, and it is a safe for your children with a beautiful little play area!

We are also proud winners of the ‘Best Café in Oxfordshire’ at Ox In A Box Food Awards 2023.
